The Golden State Pops Orchestra and Chorale join forces once again with record label, Varése Sarabande and Varése Live to present an evening of music from film’s greatest composers celebrating 30 years.
THIS JUST IN! "Heroes, Heroines, & Music Meisters" - music from Emmy Award Nominated Productions "Justice League," "Mystery of the Batwoman" and "Batman the Brave and the Bold" Featuring the composer, Lolita Ritmanis as guest conductor. The concert will also feature Christopher Lennertz conducting his music from Agent Carter, Craig Safan conducting The Last Starfigher Overture, Jason Livesay conducting the End Credits to X-men: Days of Future Past and music from The Amazing Spider-man.
The sibling songwriting team of Richard and Robert Sherman penned some of the most memorable melodies in the Walt Disney songbook and helped to create a soundtrack to the lives of multiple generations. Selections include Mary Poppins, The Jungle Book, Winnie The Pooh and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, as well as a medley of recognizable themes from Disney parks and rides and a medley of the duo’s 1950’s Rock and Roll hits.
